We were honored to be married by Father Pat in 1998. In the Kane/Donohue tradition of sacraments. I can still see him today ordering a coffee (black) after dinner when we asked him to officiate. He asked a simple question, ‘Why?’ That led to a second coffee. And a great conversation. Special people are put on this Earth for a purpose. Pat is one of them.

My siblings and I were grateful to have Deacon Pat at QP HS in NoArlington He will always be remembered as the thoughtful young man that connected with us in such a reverence of Christianity He was someone that was so approachable in the climate of the 70’s and a great person to look up to. Life seemed to separate us as that just happens - only to reconnect in his later yrs
He was a great asset to the Maywood/ Hackensack religious community and the vibes of his Irish heritage
I am so grateful to be a friend to this wonderful person
