Obituary of Vincenzo Amico

Vincenzo Amico, 98 of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 13, 2023. Prior to retiring he worked for Laborer's International Union of North America Local #3 for many years and he was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved husband of Rosa (nee Martino) for 74 years. Loving father of Graziella Portera and her husband Arturo and Salvatore Amico and his wife Judy. Cherished grandfather of Elizabeth, Emily, Ellen, Elise, Andrew, Alex and Elaine, great-grandfather of Isaiah, Lucy, Lilah, Elijah, Amelia, Luisa, Aurelia, Isla and Anabella. Dearest brother of Giuseppa Ricotta and the late Giuseppie Amico and Rosalia Marchiafava. The family will receive friends at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Monday, July 17th, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 460 Hudson Street, Hackensack. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Washington Twp.
