To the Family of Liz, I worked with Liz for many years at Slocum Skewes School. She was a great lady, teacher, listener and mentor. She was a fierce advocate for every student she taught and the many others she didn't. She truly was a fighter for all Special Needs Students. She absolutely left a legacy at Slocum Skewes School. Dear Gus and Steve, I am so very sorry to hear about your mom. She was my Ridgefield colleague, neighbor, and friend for many years. Liz gave so much of herself to her students and their families. She always believed in making a difference. Liz loved football season and got all of the Slocum Learning Center to be a part of it. Those Super Bowl parties were so much fun! Liz will be missed.
