I had the extreme honor of knowing Jonathan and Matt for many years as a Respiratory Therapist at Morristown Medical Center.
We would always find a way to have a little fun even when my " Little Buddy" wasn't feeling up to doing anything. Jon would always find some way of surprising his nurses with something. (a syringe full of water squirted on their scrubs comes to mind).
When he wasn't goofing around Jon found strength to fight so hard against this terrible disease.
The best Super Bowl party I ever went to was in a hospital room with Jon and Matt.
My wife Cris and I donated money to Jon's GoFundMe instead of spending it on Wedding Favors....thats how much he touched my life.
I will miss him very much.
I wish I could watch this years Super Bowl with my Little Buddy.
May Matt and the entire family know how much the boys touched me and made me a better man, therapist and caring person than I would have been not having met them.
Rest Jonathan you deserve it..

Sending my love and condolences to the family. I can hear Jon’s laugh when he was teasing us or telling me about a fav movie. Jon and Matt were often a tag team when they were sharing a room. We loved their crazy antics and sincere love for each other. It was a joy for me to be part of their care team.

Jonathan. When we met we were young and weird. I remember always waiting for you and your brothers and our friends to hang out in front of the porch. Sitting out there until 10 at night. Jonathan my baby .. there is such a big hole where my heart was. I miss you so much.. I will never hear you tell me you love me anymore or call me momma.. I am at a loss without you..
