Obituary of William A. Puntasecca

William A. Puntasecca Jr., "Billy", 45 of Hackensack, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024. Alongside his father, he started and built B. Puntasecca Contractors Inc. in Hackensack. He was the company's key Project Manager and was an integral part of the daily business operations. Billy was best known for his vast amount of knowledge and his innovative, technical and mathematical mind. He was naturally smart. Just by looking at things, he completely understood them. He was an analytical thinker with an engineer's mind and ingenuity that defied conventional solutions. He was the kind of guy that would stop what he was doing to help others. He was a proud supporter of all United States Service Members, Veterans and Veteran Associations. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack. Devoted son of William and Deirdre Puntasecca. Dearest brother of Donna Puntasecca-DiCarlo and her husband Joseph, Bonnie Puntasecca, Tracy Puntasecca and Edwin Rodriguez. Cherished "Uncle Bill" of Daniel and Christopher DiCarlo and Mason, Liana and Siena Rodriguez. Billy is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many close friends. He will truly be missed by all. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 4-8 PM at G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home. The Funeral will begin on Thursday, February 22, at 9:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack followed by Mass at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Ave. Hackensack, at 11:00 AM. Cremation will be private.
