Obituary of Barbara J. McArdle

Barbara J. McArdle (nee Jennings) 88, of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Teaneck, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Peter J. McArdle (1985) a former member of the 1964 Tokoyo Olympics and 1963 Pan American Games (Barbara provided unwavering support for all of her husbands running accomplishments). Loving mother of Maeve M. Vinci and her husband Joseph, Peter McArdle, MaryJean McArdle and Alice McArdle. Cherished grandmother of Joseph Peter Vinci. Dearest sister of the late Patricia Murray. Barbara is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She will truly be missed by all. A prayer service will be held 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, with burial following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 18th from 7:00 – 9:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
