Obituary of Anna Tevere

Anna Tevere (nee Cairo) of South Hackensack and Toms River, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the age of 87 years. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Hackensack and a member of the South Hackensack Hose Company #1. Ladies Auxiliary. Anna loved dancing to her disco music. She also loved cooking for family especially her famous artichokes. Anna was always a well dressed women no matter where she was going. She was the ultimate fashionista! Beloved wife of the late Michael Tevere (2002). Loving mother of Theresa Moon and her husband Brian and Lorraine Walsh and her late Husband Butch. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Robert, Daniel, Deanna and Brianna. Great-grandmother of Maddox, Brielle, Marialis and Cameron. Dearest sister of Grace, Margaret and the late Marie and Joseph. Anna is also survived by her loving Nephew Andrew. The Funeral will begin on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 9:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack at 11:00 AM, entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Washington Twp. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 27th, from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
