Obituary of Cynthia Cindy Lynch

Cynthia "Cindy" A. Lynch (nee Medaska), 66, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 28, 2024. Cindy was a devoted daughter of the late Stanley and Yvonne Medaska. She was the beloved wife of 38 years to Brian Lynch and a dedicated mother to her sons, Bobby and Tommy, and Tommy's partner, Sarah. She was the dear sister of Kevin Medaska, Michele Menne and her husband Ronnie. Cindy is also survived by four brothers-in-law and their wives, 16 nieces and nephews, one adored grand-dog, Roux, and too many close friends to name. As a child, Cindy was a parishioner and attended school at Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack, where she first met her beloved husband Brian and many of her close lifelong friends. She found her calling as a mother, not only to her children, but to their partners and friends as well. Cindy's passing leaves a tremendous hole in our hearts, but we will remember and honor her through the way we continue to live our lives, carrying on her spontaneity, sense of humor, and fierce loyalty to friends and family. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 1, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home (397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning November 2, at Holy Trinity R.C. Church (34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, NJ), at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus.
