Obituary of Jean Uzzalino

JEAN UZZALINO of Holiday City, Toms River formerly of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 24, 2010, at the age of 82. Prior to retiring in 1983 she was a supervisor for Becton and Dickenson in East Rutherford for 40 years. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Hackensack. Devoted daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Scola) Uzzalino. Dearest sister of the late Thomas, Peter, Sal and John Uzzalino, and Caroline Gentempo, Dora Penque, Margaret D’Elia and Violet Paolella. Loving godmother of Rosemary D'Elia Frontera and the late Emil Penque. Dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 27th, at 12:00 PM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack, with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 – 9 PM. Memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 would be appreciated.
