Obituary of Maria Vitale

MARIA DE CRISTOFARO VITALE, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Thursday. June 5, 2014, at the age of 80 years. Born in Manocalzati, Italy, she came to this country in 1970 settling in Hackensack. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church. Beloved wife of the late Donato Vitale who died in 2009. Devoted mother of Gabriella Arrigo of Vernon, Tina Spincola of Hackensack, Silvana Macchione and her husband Joseph of Washington Township, Biagio Vitale and his wife Barbara of Toms River and the late Franca Vitale. Cherished grandmother of Joseph Jr., Stephanie, Christopher and Marc. Loving sister of five sisters in Italy. The funeral on Tuesday, June 10th, at 8:45 AM, from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity R. C. Church with entombment following at Garden of Memories in Washington Township. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
