Obituary of Edward L. Risky

EDWARD L. RISKY, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 19, 2014, at the age of 92 years. Prior to retiring, he owned Penque Packaging Company of Hackensack. Previously he owned Prodo Pak Company of Garfield for more than 40 years. He proudly served his country during World War II and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church. Beloved husband of the late Arline G. (nee Penque). Devoted father of Roxanne Risky of Fort Mill, SC. Loving brother in law of Gloria Calandrillo and her husband John of Saddle Brook, and the late Angelo Penque, Ann Marie Dante, Adeline Deo, Mary Gentempo, and Emil Penque. The funeral on Friday, May 23rd, at 8:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, with entombment following at St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
