Obituary of Ellen Mary Wagner

ELLEN MARY WAGNER, (nee Tarrant) of New Milford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday March 19, 2014, at the age of 94 years. Prior to retiring, she worked at the United States Post Office for over 20 years. What Ellen loved to do most in life was to travel and enjoy her family. Beloved wife of the late Harry J. Wagner. Loving mother of Elaine and the late Elwood Hoehl, Victoria Wagner, John Wagner, and Harry Wagner and his wife Lisa. Cherished grandmother of Kevin Hoehl and his wife Liz, the late Thomas Hoehl and his wife Katherine, Jennifer Birchenough and her husband Robert, Brian Hoehl and his wife Kerri, David Wagner, and Amy Wagner. Adored great-grandmother of Michael Hoehl, Keely Hoehl, Jessica Hoehl, Bailey Hoehl, Cassandra Hoehl, McKenzie Hoehl, Ruben Hoehl, Andrew Hoehl, and Oscar Costello. Dearest sister of Lydia Drake and her husband Dave, Norman Tarrant and his wife Edith, Ben Tarrant and his late wife Francis, Winifred Tarrant and her late husband Doug, the late Vincent Tarrant and his wife Patricia, the late Alfred Tarrant and his wife Catherine, the late Jack Tarrant and his late wife Rita, the late Leo Tarrant, the late Bibianna Drake and her late husband Tom. Ellen is also survived by numerous great nieces and great nephews. The Funeral on Monday at 10:15 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 9 PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Ellen’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ, 07601.
