Obituary of Raymond J. Witkowski

RAYMOND J. WITKOWSKI, of Hackensack, died on Friday, January 4, 2008,at his home, at the age of 82 years. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Hackensack for 54 years. Prior to retiring he owned a gas station and repair shop known as R & L Service of Teaneck. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Hackensack. Beloved husband for 54 years of Trudy (nee Okuniewski). Devoted father of Raymond J. Witkowski and his wife Maria of Saddle Brook, Brian Witkowski and his wife Jackie of Mildord, Pennsylvania, Stan Witkowski of Hackensack, Teri Deaver of Branchville. Joyce Catogge and her husband Keith of West Milford, and the late Lenny Witkowski and Bruce Witkowski. Loving grandfather of Michael, Kevin, Laura, Dawn, Dennis, Amanda, Brian, Madeline, Bruce and Jordan. Cherished great grandfather of Jeremy, Madison, Tyler, Kayla, Nathan, and Shelby. Dearest brother of Sophie Kwiatkowski of Moonachie. . The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, January 7th, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Interment Maple Grove Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
