Obituary of Gloria C. Rodgers

GLORIA C. RODGERS, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Villa Marie Claire in Saddle River at the age of 68 years. Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, she came to this country in 1961. She lived in Hackensack for 25 years prior to living in Guttenberg for the past 10 years. Prior to retiring, she was an Administrative Assistant for H. D. Sheldon Company of New York. Beloved mother of Wesley Rodgers and his wife Lietys Novia-Rodgers of Maywood. Cherished grandmother of Andres and Gabriella. Dearest sister of Jose Rodgers and his wife Carol of Brunswick, Georgia, Judy Jones and her husband Richard of Mystic Island, Nidia Carrazzo of Hialeah, Florida, Luz Rodgers of Rutherford and Giovanni Rodgers and Anne Marie of Jefferson. Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 PM followed by burial at Maple Grove Park Cemetery in Hackensack. Visiting will be on Tuesday evening from 7 - 9 PM and Wednesday morning from 11 AM until time of service.
