Obituary of Teresa Rodgers

TERESA OLARTE RODGERS, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9th, 2014, at Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 89 years. Teresa was born in Barranquilla, Colombia she came to this country in 1962 settling in Hackensack. . Prior to retiring, she worked as a seamstress for D. Kline & Sons of Hackensack. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Daniel Rodgers who died in 2004. Devoted mother of Jose Rodgers and his wife Carol of Brunswick, GA, Judy Jones and her husband Richard of Tuckerton, Gloria Rodgers of Guttenberg, Nidia Carazo of Hialeah, FL, Luz Rodgers of East Rutherford, and Giovanni Rodgers of Lake Hopatcong, NJ. Cherished grandmother of fifteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Dearest sister of Tonia Moreno and her husband Alvaro of Hackensack. . The Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Funeral Home at 1:30 PM, on Tuesday, May 13th, with burial following at Maple Grove Park Cemetery in Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 - 9 PM.
