Obituary of Dora F. Romano

Dora F. Surace Romano, 67, of Oradell, died on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York. She was born in Lucia de Laganadi, Calabria, Italy. Prior to retiring, she was an office worker for Romano and Son Company of Lodi. She was a member of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack and a member of the Padre Pio Society of Hackensack. She is survived by her daughter Antonella Romano, her son, Paolo Romano, a brother Cesare Antonino Surace, four sisters, Giovanna Surace, Angelina Surace, Cesarina Basile and Antonia Surace, and two grandchildren Olivia and Paul Romano. She was predeceased by a sister Paola Surace and a brother Giuseppe Surace. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, on Friday, September 30th, at 10:00 AM. Cremation will follow at Laurel Grove Crematory in Totowa. Visitation at the funeral home will be on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
