Obituary of Carmina Annarumma
CARMINA CURATOLO ANNARUMMA, of Paramus, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at the age of 91 years. Born in Quaglietta, Italy, she came to this country in 1968 settling in New York. She lived in Hackensack for 33 years and had lived in Paramus for 5 years. Prior to retiring she was a seamstress in New York and at Goldberg Slipper Factory and Randa Ties both of Hackensack. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack where she was a member of the Secular Franciscans and the Padre Pio Prayer Group. She also was instrumental and inspired others in the formation of the Regina Paci Prayer Group. She leaves behind her close knit family including her beloved husband the late Carmine Annarumma who died in 1988, her loving sons Rocco Annarumma and his wife Carmela of Paramus and the late Antonio Annarumma, who died in 1969, her adoring grandchildren, Elizabeth Marinaccio and her husband John of Ramsey and Rocco Annarumma of New York, cherished great grandchildren Joseph, Isabella, Gianluca and Maddalena. She was predeceased by her four devoted brothers and three sisters and leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who gave her great joy and love with their constant visits to her home. The funeral on Monday, June 9th, at 8:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis R. C. Church with burial following at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 7 - 9 PM and Sunday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
