Obituary of Edna F. Costa

EDNA F. GRATHWOHL COSTA , of Saddle River, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 18, 2012, at the age of 98 years. Prior to retiring, she was the co-owner of Maine Evergreen Nursery of Maywood. She was a parishioner of St. Gabriel the Archangel R. C. Church of Saddle River. She was the former president of the Saddle River Garden Club and also was a volunteer for Valley Hospital Auxiliary of Ridgewood. Beloved wife of the late Carmen Costa (1997). Devoted mother of Barbara A. Trocano and her husband Russ of North Haledon. Loving grandmother of Russell P. Trocano of Maywood. Dearest sister of the late George Grathwohl. The funeral on Monday, October 22nd, , at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street. Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 22nd, at 10:00 AM at St. Gabriel the Archangel R. C. Church, 88 East Saddle River Rd., Saddle River with entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM
