Obituary of Virginia D'Alessio

VIRGINIA "DOLLY" "GINNY" D'ALESSIO, of South Hackensack passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at the age of 84. Virginia had worked as a receptionist for Becton – Dickinson in East Rutherford for over 40 years. Virginia was also a member and a past secretary for the South Hackensack Senior Citizens Club. She was a parishioner of Church of the Immaculate Conception, Hackensack, where she was very involved in the church council and the church choir. Devoted daughter of the late Antoinette (nee Guidice) and Angelo D’Alessio. Dearest sister of Frances Trause, Rose Amore, John D’Alessio, Dominick D’Alessio, and the late Jerry D’Alessio. Virginia is also survived by sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral on Tuesday July 23rd, at 8:45 AM from the Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 P.M. for visitation.
