Obituary of Maria Appice

MARIA APPICE, (nee Mongiello). of Rochelle Park, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 21, 2011, at the age of 71. Born in Bitonto, Italy she came to the United States in 1955. Maria was a member of the Toritto Mutual Aid Society, Englewood Cliffs, NJ and a parishioner of Sacred Heart R. C. Church, Rochelle Park. Beloved wife of John Appice. Loving mother of Luisa Covino and her husband Anthony, Frank Appice and his wife Maria, John P. Appice and the late Francesca Appice. Cherished grandmother of Gabriella, Angelica, Francesca, Anthony and Martina. Dearest sister of Pasquale Mongiello and Lucrezia Craparotta. Maria is also survived by her Loving in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral on Wednesday May 25, 2011 at 8:30 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 12 Terrace Avenue, Rochelle Park, NJ, at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Washington Twp. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM.
