Obituary of Josephine De Peri
Josephine Azzato De Peri, of Hackensack, died on Sunday, March 12, 2006, at the age of 90 years. She was born in Lodi and had worked as a seamstress for various company's and also had a career making and rolling cigars. She was a parishioner of the Church of Immaculate Conception of Hackensack. Predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Benedetto Bennie De Peri who died in 2005, she is survived by her daughter, Annette Schneider and her husband James, two sons Charles De Peri and his wife Marie, and Michael De Peri, four grandchildren, John Paul, Lisa and Danielle, her great grandchildren, Suzanna, Julia, Charlie, Nicolas and Madeline, and two sisters, Anne Benedict and Virginia De Blasio. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Marie Quartucci and Theresa D'Angelo, and four brothers, Edward Azzato, John Azzato, Anthony Azzato and Michael Azzato. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook. Visiting will be on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
