Obituary of Joseph P. Arbuco

Joseph P. Arbuco, of Rochelle Park, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at the age of 79 years. Born in the Bronx, New York, he lived in Hackensack prior to coming to Rochelle Park seven years ago. Prior to retiring, he worked as a postal worker for 38 years with the Teaneck Post Office. He also owned Joseph Arbuco Landscaping of Rochelle Park and Hackensack. He was a parishioner of the Church of the Sacred Heart of Rochelle Park. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Phyllis C. Caggiano Arbuco, his children, Joanne Meli and her husband Louis of Maywood, Steven Arbuco and his wife Laurie of Warwick, NY, Cindy Vendola and her husband Joseph of Maywood and RoseMarie Trimm and her husband Paul of Hasbrouck Heights, his grandchildren, Kristen, Kaitlyn, Michael, Zachary, Nicholas, Alex and Philip and several nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, May 8th, at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 12 Terrace Avenue, Rochelle Park at 9:30 AM with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting will be on Saturday evening from 7 - 9 PM and Sunday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Memorial donations to the Hospice Program at Hackensack University Medical Center, 30 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack, 07601 would be appreciated.
