Obituary of Abele Di Stasi

Abele Di Stasi Jr., of Hackensack, died on Monday, February 27, 2006, at the age of 67 years. Prior to retiring in 2004, he worked for S. Goldberg Slipper Company of Hackensack where he was an inventory clerk for 42 years. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Episcopal Church of Hackensack. He also was a member of the Hackensack Troast Athletic Club and the Moose Lodge of Hackensack. Predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence Di Stasi and Eugene Di Stasi, he is survived by his brothers John Di Stasi of Toms River, and Salvatore Di Stasi and his wife Josephine of Long Valley, his nephews John Di Stasi and his wife Debbie, Eugene Di Stasi and his wife Ellen, Frank Di Stasi and his wife Lori and Charles Di Stasi and his wife Mary Ann, his nieces, Debbie Mazzo and her husband John and Joann Zisa and her husband Dean, and 15 great nephews and great nieces. The funeral will be on Thursday, March 2, 2006, at 9:45 AM. The Mass of Requiem will be offered , at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Episcopal Church, 72 Lodi Street, Hackensack, Reverend Brian H. Laffler officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery in Hackensack. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
