Obituary of Edith M. Duca

EDITH MEI DUCA, of South Hackensack, died on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the age of 85. Prior to retiring in 2007, Edith owned and operated the State Street Hotel in Hackensack for over 37 years. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R .C. Church in Hackensack, Beloved wife of the late Louis J. Duca (1994). Devoted mother of Edith Tullo and Louanne Ferraro and her fiancé Robert Bartolomeo. Loving grandmother of Sherry VaCirca and her husband Joseph and Alyssa Tullo-Bilotti and her husband Phillip, great-grandmother of Calista, Ellieanna and Brave Mathew. Dearest sister of Jean Dooley and the late Pat Mei, Louis Mei and Hank Mei. Edith is also survived by several nieces and nephews.The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 27th, at 9:45 AM, at St. Francis R .C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack with entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 – 4 & 6:30 – 9 PM.
