Obituary of Hazel Stout Hagemann
Hazel Stout Hagemann, of Clifton, formerly of Hackensack, died on Saturday, February 4, 2006, at Hackensack University Medical Center at the age of 88 years. Prior to retiring, she was a telephone operator for New Jersey Bell Telephone of Hackensack and also was a special police officer for the Hackensack Police Department where she served as a crossing guard for more than 20 years. She was very proud that she graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University of Teaneck with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 1984. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack where she served as a Girl Scout Leader for many years. Predeceased by two sons, Richard in 1990 and Bobby in 2004 and 13 brothers and sisters, she is survived by her husband Charles Hagemann Sr., two daughters, June Bentley and her husband Vernon of Phoenix, Arizona, and Maria Gawin and her husband Peter Sr. of Saddle Brook, two sons, Leonard Dechenaux of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Charles Hagemann Jr. of Clifton, 11 Grandchildren, Daniel, Kelly, Scott, Richie, Kim, Michelle, Dawn, Suzanne, Peter Jr., Christopher, and Katie and 8 Great Grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 8th, at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery. Visiting will be on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
