Obituary of Raffaele Sangiorgi

Raffaele Sangiorgi, of Hackensack, died on Tuesday, November 7, 2006, at his home, at the age of 69 years. He was born in Valledolmo, Italy and came to the United States in 1973 settling in Hackensack. He worked as an environmentalist at the Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack and was a member of the Padre Pio Group. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carmela Di Piazza Sangiorgi, two daughters, Ensa Varga and her husband Jose of Garfield, and Maria Franca Sangiorgi of Hackensack, and two grandchildren, Nicholas and Jasmine. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, November 11th, at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, at 9:30 AM, with burial following at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook. Visiting will be on Friday from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 PM
