Obituary of Elizabeth Iozzia

ELIZABETH "BETTY" IOZZIA, (nee Dinallo), of Greenbriar Woodlands, Toms River, formerly of Hackensack, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the age of 82 years. Born in South Hackensack, she moved to Toms River 21 years ago. She enjoyed life to the fullest, but what gave her the most joy was spending time with her family especially her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, playing golf and she was an avid bowler who enjoyed participating in various leagues. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Anthony J. Iozzia (2011). Devoted mother of Barbara A. Iozzia and her husband Ron Watt of West Windsor, Richard A. Iozzia and his wife Marylou of Fair Lawn, and Anthony Iozzia and his wife Eileen of Bayville. Cherished grandmother of Ryan, Daniel, Gina, Leslie, Alexander, Nicole, Michelle and Rachel. Dearest sister of Maggie Szawiola of Hackensack and the late Angelo, Carmen, Nicholas and Victor Dinallo and Mary Maffetone and Antoinette Blundo. Betty is also survived by her caring sister-in-law Jean Portali and numerous nieces, nephews and many other caring family and friends. The funeral on Saturday, August 4, at 8:30 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM, with entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM.
