Obituary of John Francis Kotowski
JOHN FRANCIS KOTOWSKI, was born on April 10, 1945 in Passaic, NJ to John and Stashia Kotowski. In 1956, the family moved to Palisades Park where he resided until he passed away peacefully on September 22, 2014. John Francis loved to walk 'uptown' and converse with his friends. He always dreamed of becoming a police officer, and he knew everyone on the force. John Francis' hobby was collecting western wear which included a variety of hats, belts, and boots. John worked at Domestic Lace Manufacturing in Englewood and retired as Vice President from Peekskill Hairnet Inc of Peekskill, NY. Since he was a child John Francis was a parishioner and altar server at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Hackensack. John Francis is remembered as the most loving, caring, honest, religious, tolerant and understanding person we were privileged to know. He was the best son to his mother and father, the best brother to his sister Melanie Comas and the best uncle and godfather to his nephew John Michael. He was always happy, friendly and had a wonderful, welcoming smile. He never held a grudge and was always a friend who was there for you no matter what. John Francis leaves a void that no one can fill. We can only keep him in our hearts with the wonderful memories we have of days gone by. We ask for his blessings from heaven. The funeral on Saturday, September 27th, at 9:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 460 Hudson Hackensack at 11:00 AM with burial following at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee.
