Obituary of Linda C. LaCoppola

LINDA C. BYRNE LaCOPPOLA , of Dumont, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at the age of 49 years. Born in Hackensack, she lived in Dumont for 20 years. She had worked as a librarian at the Grant School in Dumont, Previously she worked many years as a legal secretary for Joseph DiCorscia, Esq. of Hackensack. Blessed with many friends, she never failed to volunteer when asked, whether as team mom for baseball, or hockey, PTO events or numerous committees. Beloved wife for 20 years of Sal LaCoppola. Devoted mother of Corey, Tommy, and Joanna. Cherished daughter of Claire (nee Muller) of Glen Rock and the late Jack Byrne. Dearest sister of Gary Byrne and his wife Cynthia of Middletown, NY, Kevin Byrne and his wife Patti of Hackettstown, Michael Byrne and his wife Jeanne of Dumont, Jack Byrne and his wife Martha of Glen Rock, Tim Byrne of West Milford, and Terry Byrne and his wife Janine of River Edge. Adored aunt of many nieces and nephews. . The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 26th, at 10:00 AM, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532 would be appreciated.
