Obituary of Antonino Latella

ANTONINO LATELLA, of Little Ferry, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at the age of 85 years. Born in Pellegrina, Italy he came to this country in 1973 settling in Little Ferry. Prior to retiring, he worked as a floor refinisher for Anderson Flooring of Hackensack. He was a parishioner of St. Margaret of Cortona R. C. Church of Little Ferry. Antonino loved his gardening, especially tending to his vegetable plants. Beloved husband for 45 years to Carmela (nee Careri). Devoted father of Annunziata Gambo and her husband James of Little Ferry, and Carmelo Latella and his wife Deborah of Boonton. Cherished grandfather of Jake, Jason, Isabella, Samantha, Carmela and Bianca. Dearest brother of Antonio Latella of Italy, Annunziata Perrotta of Australia, and the late Vincenzo, Giuseppe, Carmelo, Giovanna, Vincenza, Theresa and Maria Latella. Loving brother in law of Giovanni Careri of Italy, Grazia Iaria of Italy, Josephine Calabro of Little Ferry,, Giovanna Careri of Little Ferry and Giovanni Cambareri of South Hackensack.. The funeral on Saturday, May 31st, at 8:45 AM from the Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Margaret of Cortona R. C. Church, 31 Chamberlain Avenue, Little Ferry at 10:00 AM with entombment following at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 - 9 PM.
