Dear Ginny, I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember your mother coming to our Lenten Soup Suppers at Our Lady of Mercy many times and I enjoyed speaking with her. Of course Hackensack people hold a dear spot in my heart and she was one of the best! May she rest in the peace of the Lord.
May you be at peace and may God bless you and your family.
With love, Sunday and Tony

I'm so sorry for your families loss. I am lucky enough to work with Nina in Los Angeles (and miss her terribly). Although I was never able to meet Mrs. Padovano personally I heard lots of great stories over the years from Nina. Kathryn sounded like a strong, funny lady who kept everyone on their toes. My heart goes out to you during this time. I know you guys have a very close family that is always there for each other with lots laughs & love and that will get you through. Nina, we all miss you here & please let me know if you need anything at all.
Love you, miss you

Dear Ginny, Trisha, Kathy, and Nina, My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you face the loss of your beautiful mother----my dear Aunt Kay. I will always remember how she took me in with open arms---fed me, cared for me, and loved me for an entire school year year---just like I was one of you! She did this without hesitation, with energy, and enthusiasm. That was a tall order! I will always also remember her style which she applied to everything she did----decorating, cooking, home making. I learned so much from Aunt Kay----and will always love her for the gift of her time and attention that she gave to me. Although I know your hearts are breaking, I believe she is now rejoicing in Heaven with Uncle Carl and Carl. I can almost see her beautiful smile! Love, Cousin Eileen

Knowing Nina a really, really long time, we've shared so many stories about our families that I feel kind of close to this amazing clan. Your beautiful matriarch, Kay, though gone from this world, continues to live on through her progeny, and will continue to touch others, such as I have been touched. But, it's not the same as having her around to check a recipe, or steal a hug. I am so sorry and sad for your loss.
