I am so sorry to hear about Dee's passing. She was one very special lady. When I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer she was the first person to call and come see me. She brought a bag containing everything I would need while undergoing chemo treatment. Here was a woman who was battling this dreadful disease herself but took the time to come over and see how I was doing. She also gave me an angel that symbolized strength. I told her she was the one that should have the angel as she was a true fighter showing a lot of strength. I wish you all the same strength she had as you go through your grieving process. Smile whenever you think of her- celebrate her life. That's what she was doing until God decided he needed another angel with him. May she rest in peace.

Hello, I worked with Dee at Valley Hospital evenings about 15 years ago. She was kind to the patients and very nice to people overall, I'm exactly 20 years her senior and whenever we worked together she brought energy into the workplace. I want you to know this. She was never a lazy colleague, she loved her job. It was always a gift to see her name on the schedule whenever I arrived at workplace. I remember Dee Dee as a part of my childhood. She lived on my block Kaplan Avenue and worked at the local Dairy Queen. She was the pretty girl with beautiful feathered hair. Super sweet and nice to everyone. She was a helper at the Rowland street park for the summer programs also. Years later we meet again at Valley Hospital when she worked as a X-ray tech. Sad to hear the news
